Glock 21 Gen 4 Recall - The Gen 4 Glock 21 is now a reality. The Glock 21 is one of the company's most talked about models: on the one hand, it offers the shooter 13+1 powerful .45 ACP rounds for any threat that may present itself .
With the Gen 4 treatment of the Model 21, Glock hopes to satisfy all their fans who love a cartridge that was made a few hundred years ago. Â The biggest change to the Gen 4 pistols is the modular strap system that allows the owner to adjust the size of each pistol to his hand. Â Does "size matter?" The argument will never end, Glock has certainly made a concerted effort to make the 21 comfortable for most shooters.

Other Gen 4 upgrades are standard on the new Model 21: Â larger and retractable magazine, double spring assembly and stiffer frame. I really like the new magazine release and the new design Glock uses. Â However, I have my doubts about the dual recoil spring assembly.

It appears that Glock has had reliability issues with certain springs and calibers in Gen 4 pistols (see Gen 4 Glock recall details here ). I hope the problems are over and the new G21 will run smoothly.
I know the two deflection springs are supposed to reduce friction, and they can. I've shot the Gen 4 versions of the Model 17 and Model 22 Glock pistols, but I couldn't tell much of a difference. Â They seemed to wobble a bit, but maybe it was nothing but my mind telling me they had less power than a slight wobble. Caleb Over at Gun Nuts already has a Gen 4 Glock 21 for review and had this to say about the return:
... a recoil system, which Glock says helps reduce recoil. The answer to this is a resounding "yes, it does?" The problem is that measuring something like this is actually very difficult to measure in real numbers. It feels lighter to me than the non-Gen4 models, but well, you get the idea.
Richard Johnson is a gun writer, hobby historian and - most of all - a father. He's done a lot of stupid things in his life, but quitting his job as a police officer to follow his passion for writing about guns was one of the smartest things he ever did. He created the site and continues to manage its operations. Two gun owners say the popular Glock pistol is unreasonably dangerous in a class action lawsuit filed against the company days before two other guns in the United States.
Glock 19 Versus Sig P320: Which Gun Wins This Epic Battle?
The lead plaintiffs, David Milian and Christopher George, in the Glock handgun class action claim that the guns are defective in a way that makes them inherently dangerous.
"All of the group's guns have at least one flaw that makes the guns unreasonably dangerous and unfit for use," the complaint states. "Each gun has a very long feed path and leads to a chamber that requires chamber support for the round/casing which causes undue pressure on the round/casing a firing at 6 o'clock. Position […] This causes a 'blow out' or 'kaboom' which is a dangerous situation that causes the separation of the round/casing at the 6 o'clock position and the removal of a part of the casing.
According to the class action lawsuit, explosions or kabooms "can, and do, result in personal injury."
Both plaintiffs claim they purchased Glock pistols affected by the Kaboom defect. They said they were convinced by Glock's marketing, including the gun's references to "safer action" and "Glock perfection."

Plaintiff contends that many, possibly more than 30, Glock models are affected by the defect, including models 22 through 24, 27, 30, as well as plaintiff's 41 and .40 caliber Glocks.
The plaintiffs do not want to enter into a Second Amendment dispute with the Glock class action lawsuit, the complaint says. However, they want to represent the owners of other Glock pistols that may be affected by this dangerous defect.
The class action lawsuit states, “[I]t is only a matter of time before more people are seriously injured or killed.
According to the Glock handgun class action lawsuit, the gun manufacturer knew about the problems caused by the defective guns, but kept them a secret from the public. Glock has not yet issued a recall or issued a warning to owners of the affected gun models.

The Glock handgun class's decision states, "The defect has created an unreasonably dangerous situation for the person who owns and/or possesses the class handgun, and has significantly reduced or diminished the value of the handgun." group in full.
The Glock handgun class accuses the gun manufacturer of fraudulent concealment and failure to warn. Additionally, the complaint alleges that Glock falsely represented to the public that its firearms were safe. The plaintiffs say they and other consumers would not have bought the guns if they had known about the defect.
The plaintiffs are represented by Craig M. Nichols and Alex Tomasevic of Nichols & Tomasevic LLP, Robert K. of Lewis Law Firm plc. Lewis and Christopher A. Amy M. of Treadway & Pokora Law Plc. Created by Pokora.
